I'm not sure what's Acronis Universal Restore for. Finally figured out to do it with Rufus, you have to choose MBR partition for BIOS or UEFI if you want it to boot on the Dell XPS 15, with Secure Boot disabled. The utility to build the iso fails if I enter incorrectly the letter of the pendrive which I want to make bootable. In any case the MVP_ATIPEBuilder_v111 bootable ISO is a pain in the ass so use, and these are just examples of why: Yes now I can see "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\x86\en-US\winpe.wim". "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\x86\en-US\winpe.wim does NOT exist." ** System scan and preparation in progress. **** (or after) using this home-grown, custom tool. ![]() **** questions, comments, or concerns before **** ![]() ![]() **** Please post in the Acronis forums, if you have **** **** "AS IS" with no warranty or support. **** Although this has been thoroughly tested, **** MVP Tool - Acronis WinPE Rescue Media Builder ![]() I run "MVP_ATIPEBuilder_v111\MVP_ATIPEBuilder.exe" and get a command prompt window, then closes and nothing happens: I've downloaded the Google Drive files, but apparently doesn't work.
